Learning Flash-using symbols and ‘Motion Tween’
After producing small test scene to discover the implications of animating light effects using different images per frame I decided to use a motion tween to discover the differences.
Using motion tween and converting images to symbols yield a much suttle animation thus a better result. The simplicity of this short animation is achieved by converting the image into a graphic symbol with and adding a tint effect. Motion tween is then applied for smooth transitioning between frames.

Without using ‘Motion Tween’-Test Run 02
This is my second test run using flash after my first tutorial. Using images from a photography workshop I am playing with light and shadow effects.
This particular short movie shows the image getting darker.
I am aiming for a far more realistic effect were light filtrates the room thus making it lighter. At the moment the transition is not as smooth as I had hoped, it is due to the fact that ’motion tween’ tool was not used. I choose not to use a motion tweenintentionally to discover the differences between an animation done per frame, step by step and by applying a motion tween.
