Without using ‘Motion Tween’

This is my first test run using flash after my first tutorial. Using images from a photography workshop I am playing with light and shadow effects.

This particular short movie shows the image getting lighter. 
I am aiming for a far more realistic effect were light filtrates the room thus making it lighter. At the moment the transition is not as smooth as I had hoped, it is due to the fact that  ’motion tween’ tool was not used. I choose not to use a motion tween intentionally to discover the differences between an animation done per frame, step by step and by applying a motion tween.
